MetroLinq 2.5G 60-BF-18 Info and Links
Introduction
The MetroLinq 2.5G 60 Beamforming Sector (ML2.5-60-BF-18) is a powerful 60 GHz MultiPoint base-station packed with the latest technologies from IgniteNet. This new radio can achieve 2.5 Gbps capacity allowing the construction of multi-gigabit, future-proof hybrid fibre wireless networks quickly and cost-effectively. Using the latest phased array beamforming antenna design allows 120ยบ area coverage with an improved performance when focusing the signal to a specific client when data is transmitted and received.
The ML2.5-60-BF-18 provides up to 3 Gbps aggregate throughput. The free LinqPath tool can be used to calculate expected range and throughput.
5 GHz modes
The 5 GHz radio supports
multiple SSIDs which can be used for failover, additional infrastructure
connections and WIFI access.
I/O Interfaces
MetroLinq 2.5 devices have
one SFP port which supports 1000M data speeds and one 2.5G N-base-T port with
supports 2.5 Gigabit/ 1000M/100M/10M data speeds. MetroLinq 2.5 also provides
24-48V DC input terminals and a USB port for use with the Bluetooth aiming
dongle. More
